It was August of 2020, when the world was on lonely lockdown. Both sets of our young adult kids had each other, and Julio and Wendy had, well, we had Bumble. Julio's profile read: "I've been on a dramatic path to mindfulness and authenticity." Wendy needed to hear that story!. Wendy's profile read: "I'm not for everyone." Julio wondered why. As restaurants were closed, there were a lot of picnics where Julio worked hard to hide his "food anxiety."

Nine months after meeting, while on vacation in Hawaii, Wendy received a phone call from Julio saying he was thinking about breaking up. Wendy, being "America's Relationship Expert," talked him right out the door. This exhausted her. 

The break up lasted 24 hours.
